Alan Pearlstein | ceo

Alan Pearlstein founded Flying Point Media in 2002. Since its inception Alan has grown the New York-based agency into one of the premier Internet specialists for entrepreneurial brands.
A direct-response marketer by training, Alan has consistently turned challenger brands into category leaders via Internet advertising. He leads a team of 40 professionals to engineer Internet advertising campaigns that pay off directly in qualified customer leads, retail traffic and product sales. He created the Emigrant Direct campaign that established the bank as a player in online banking in less than a year. He developed the strategic campaign that made StriVectin-SD the leading anti-wrinkle cream in the United States. Now he is leading a next wave of marketers to activate the retail power of the Internet including: Sleepy's The Mattress Professionals, Regis Salons, Casual Male and Rochester Big & Tall.
Alan is one of the few online media executives to have run a product business. He founded Byron and Poole, a men's apparel manufacturer and catalog marketer, in 1992, and built the company's portfolio to more than 30,000 customers before selling the business in 1998. Following the sale, he became director of strategic alliances and business development at media.com, the online media division of Grey Worldwide, where he created large-scale advertising, brand integration and marketing relationships for such companies as Kraft Foods, the Golf Warehouse, and autobytel.com. Flying Point's performance springs from Alan's bottom-line focus - conversion is what counts - and intricate understanding of the nuances of popular web sites and search engines. Flying Point has been featured in The New York Times, Adweek, ClickZ, Media Daily News, DM News and Journal of Financial Advertising and Marketing.
